After the Brisbane press conference the hard work started with Rosco travelling halfway between Birdsville and Bedourie (1600 km round trip) and meeting up with a Channel 7 news crew and teams from Land Surveys and Motec.

The object of the trip was to ascertain if there was a large enough piece of real estate to run our car and if so start the ball rolling in getting permission to run the car and work out exactly what work needed to be carried out to make the track fit to race on.

Both Motec and Land Surveys had a mass of equipment to test for how hard and level the track was. This state of the art equipment was vital as the track length needed was 30km long and several wide.

Below are some images from the trip and a follow up story will be written when the full results of the testing are known, but initial results are promising.
